Tip, Top & Trim Tummy

Even the slightest of frames are prone to concerns about their tummies and as to how taut and terrific they might be. As hard as I might work at my crunches, I still fall victim to bloating or the awkward circumstance of what to wear to the beach after lunch with the girls. This situation in itself would usually prove quite a daunting prospect, however I have since found myself a fail-safe and fashionable little saviour. I introduce to you... The 'Tummy Trimmer.'

I find it comforting to know that I have a secret weapon in the form of a swimsuit, tucked away in my closet, for those days when I might be feeling a little flabby. 'Tummy Trimmers' are purpose designed to provide coverage and to pull you in, in all the right places. I have also found them to be very versatile; not only do they make my frame more svelte they're also highly practical for water-sports and beach based activities (with bits and pieces staying firm and in-place, running around in true Baywatch style is now far more achievable), plus the cute styles available make these ideal for teaming with other cult, wardrobe pieces - Cue denim shorts, bold bangles and a wide brimmed hat. 

The trick behind these magical 'Tummy Trimmers' is the flattering rouching, power mesh, shelf bra's, moulded cups and supportive gripper tape. Great examples of these that I plan to put away for this Summer season are; Seafolly Viva Boyleg Maillot, Seafolly Goddes Boyleg or the Bond-Eye Ankh Frill.

Summer Lovin'

A Summer romance, isn't that what we all dream about? It would seem that swimwear brand Seafolly is in agreeance, they have taken this idea and run with it. Creating a delicate and intoxifying, must have bikini for Spring / Summer 2010. Channeling current trends such as frills, lace, bows, bold prints plus light and bright colours, 'English Rose' hits hard and in all the right places.

With regards to trending colour palettes, we can expect tones of; blond tabacco, melon sorbet, terracotta, turkish delight, sand, bubble gum, peppermint and grenadine. Further to this, as noted on Fashionising.com;

"Stylists involved with the viannual colour meeting organised by Eurovet have said that while we will probably see these colours used on their own to some degree, we will mostly see them as parts of either embroidery or used in extremely colourful pop graffiti prints. Also predicted is a re-occurrence of the romantic trend and inspirations taken from the Pop Art of the sixties and seventies."

All in all, it's no wonder that we're all lusting after this particularly pretty and perfectly pink bikini. 'English Rose' will capture hearts and leave you breathless. Like all good Summer romances, you won't be able to resist!

Sunrise to Sunset

A touch of elegance at the beach and toned down casual cool for the evenings. The new Bond-Eye and 2 Chillies cover-ups are light-weight and perfect for hot days at the beach. Plus they're stylish enough to see you through to sunset drinks - Mojito anyone??

The new lines come in a variety of colours and feature some less than ordinary detailing.  Some of the colours making a splash this season are; vibrant oranges, classic blacks, crisp whites and fun and flirty florals. And on-top of all of this, some of the details you can expect are; pleats, twisted ropes, ruffles, frills and nail head studs!!
